CF 1st meeting

CF 1st meeting for may semester was started on Friday, 19/05/2006 in Lecture Hall 3 from 1-3pm. Suprisingly, lots of members turned up and it was glad to see that GOD lead them to CF.

Before high praise was started, we had a small ice-breaker. Though it was just a simple ice-breaker, everyone was happy and enjoyed playing the games. Then we moved on to the food!! wow, heaven's food are scrumptious! yummy yummy..

Next, high praise finally started. Thanx God for Your presence. All of us cried out to GOD, shouted to GOD, and worshipped GOD.

Let's move to next activities. It was an introduction to CF committee members. To all the members, you may look for us if you have any problems because we, committee members are kind and generous. (*ahem*).

Alright, our cool and funky activity for 1st meeting was introduction/ CG day. For those who are interested to join care group, you may come along!!

The Lord Jesus is a true Friend

Because we are sinners,we are in the greatest possible need.By naturre we are all sick with a deadly disease.We are all dying through sin.But Christ came to deliver us from this death.By nature we are all great debtors.We owe God a debt which we can never pay.But Christ came to pay our debt.By nature we are all shipwrecked and cast away.We could never reach the safe harbour of eternal life.But the Lord Jesus Christ came to save that which was lost, and to bring us safely to heaven.

You see,there is no possible way for us to be saved except by Christ's coming into the world to save sinners (1 Timothy 1:15). He was inder no obligation to do so, but His own free love,mercy and pity brought Him to deliver us.This is true friendship! There has never been a friend like Jesus Christ!

Above all, there are few friends who will care for your soul.But I want to recommend a real Friend to you.He is "a friend who sticks closer than a brother" (Proverbs 18:24). He is ready to be your friend in time and eternity. The friend I wnat you to know is the Lord Jesus Christ.You will be a truly happy person if He is you chief Friend!!
